Dementia is described as ‘young onset’ when symptoms develop before the age of 65. There are over 70,800 people estimated to be living with the condition in the UK.
Taking part in young onset dementia research can provide an opportunity to contribute to the future of dementia care and treatment and to make a positive difference.

Our next webinar ‘Supporting the autonomy of people with young onset dementia’ is on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at 12.30-1.30pm. It will explore some practical ideas and resources that can support some ways in which autonomy can be maintained for younger people with dementia.
